I Am Solar Powered

...And not only am I powered by the sun, I am also more likely to enjoy the sunrise than the sunset. I suppose that is mostly due to the fact that my kids are young and I am always up as the sun is rising. There is something about the rays of sun that greet a brand new day that are different from the rest. It makes me feel fresh and reminds me that each day is distinct and holds countless possibilities. I often feel that I can breath easier when I am soaking in the sunrise...If you haven't tried it, you should. And if you're not a morning person try at least once to force yourself to get up and go outside. Even if its just in your car for a drive (which is usually how I enjoy it because if you know me you know I hate the cold!).

In reality I don't have much to grumble about this winter. Even though I know we need the moisture I have been fully enjoying the milder temperatures and sunshine. We were able to walk to the park three times this weekend. Lovely!

I think Ben was tired of me taking his picture so he offered to take mine. She's not looking but you can see Maci, my furry baby, in this picture. She is originally from California so as you can imagine she has been loving the sunshine too!
