I'm sure any of you others that have kids know how hard it can be to find quality time with your spouse. Well, since our kids are in school this year we've been taking advantage of our daytime childlessness. This week we went to breakfast where my hubby commented, "I'm really proud of you for finishing your meal." to which I replied, "Hahaha...what?? Are you serious??" I thought he was still stuck in daddy mode. His explanation is that it's so much more fun to eat when you have someone that will eat with you. Cute.
IHOP baby! The coffee was actually quite good (not as good as the stuffed french toast, though). Nice little surprise.
We went shopping... Oh I wish at least one of these pairs of boots would have followed me home. It was a toss up for me between the floral print or the polka dots shaped like raindrops. Raining or not, I would wear these
everywhere!
We even had time to sneak in a movie... And we both enjoyed it. Bonus!
